Equicise, is just what it sounds like exercise on the horse. Its a new program being developed specifically here at Hylee Training. After all the years, of everyone asking how come we were always in shape! And finally we have finessed the best program for that.

Riders ride 2 or 3 times per week in an Equicize cardio session, each session is 20 mins in length with a few minutes before and afterward to stretch. All exercise is done on the horse. Sessions are done on the lunge with the rider working on core muscle strength, leg, arm and glute muscles. The exercises covered will also  increase balance, flexibility, strength and coordination. Horses are ready for riders when they arrive. No previous riding experience is necessary. Riders participating in sessions three times per week could reasonably burn around 1500 calories.

Exercise goals will be tracked and worked towards. Sessions are held Tuesday mornings and  evenings, Thursday mornings and evenings with optional Friday appts available.

The program runs on a monthly basis, is in our indoor riding arena, and the cost per session is $40.

Two sessions per week – All session fees are due in at the time of booking

Fine Print:

Riders must be currently under 250 lbs.

Riders are required to wear tight fitting pants 

Riders are required to wear closed toed shoes (running shoes are fine)
