Horses aren’t just about riding

Hylee Training offers many programs for riders coming up through the levels. The EC Rider Level Program and our own monthly theory program as well as a working student program.

Monthly Theory

Here at Hylee Training, we host a monthly theory night which is free to current clients and $20 for non-clients. The only requirements is you bring yourself and a something to eat! Every theory night is potluck. The theory topics cover many areas and can include show prep, how to warm up your horse, how to feed a horse and many others. We are currently looking at booking the theory nights to Saturday evenings.

Community Involvement

Part of our process in creating great all rounded riders is community involvement. We are an active contributer to local community with Alicia sitting on the HCBC Board and various other committees including the Delta Riding Club. We are actively involved and value to participation by all clients. Students who show there are asked to help with duties.
