Hylee Classical QT – Fuzz

Fuzz is our longest school string member. She is 15.2 hh, 10 year old Paint Mare. With numerous wins in both the dressage, hunter and jumper rings. She’s ready to bring her students along. Fuzz’s favorite thing is FOOD! To have a good lesson on her you have to bring her carrot for afterward. Fuzz will be showing for her 8th year this season.

Hylee’s Styling Guy – Styles

Styles is a 16.3hh Warmblood/Pinto cross. He is 13 years old and will be showing in the 3’9″ Jumper ring this summer. Styles is an advanced lesson horse for students looking at showing in the 3′ and up height. Styles was shown in the past in the 2’9″ division and in past he has attended clinics with Jane Stone and Will Simpson. An athletic and talent horse for the serious rider. Styles is available for lease to the serious rider.

Flash aka Flashen Awe

Flash is a 8  year old Thoroughbred gelding. Before coming to Hylee,  Flash was a lawn ornament! After coming to Hylee he has realized he loves to work and loves giving lessons. In the last few years Flash has showed up to 2’6″ in Hunters, done a year dressage training with Alicia and is currently looking for the right rider to go to 3′ with.Flash is available to lease for the right rider.

Molly aka Hylee’s Molly

Molly is an Arab Cross standing 14hh and 28 years old. She is used with the very little kids. Her favorite thing is a good scratch! She also loves her special food (alfalfa cubes). You know its her by the little nicker she gives when you go by without a pet! Her favorite students are the tiny tiny kids and she particularly enjoys the birthday parties. Molly is not available for lease.

Midnight aka Hylee’s Midnight Dream

Midnight is an 24 year old Quarter Horse mare who comes to us from Alberta. She is approx 14.2 and is one of the barn favorites! She is a perfect walk/pony and one of the slowest on the lesson string. This winter, she will be working on her canter and her jumping skills. Midnight has taught many a kids camp and is also a member of our therapeutic string.

Zee aka Hylee’s Zephyr

Zee comes to us from Mission. He’s 21 years old, an Arabian and stands about 15.1 hh. He has an awkward trot and an amazing canter!Zee has been  used in our lesson string for the last three years. He has done many many a kids camp now, and is used for our lesson string after the kids learn to trot. He’s taken a few kids to the show this season, and has just graduated to the therapeutic string. Zee is currently leased.

Inky aka Hylee’s Signature

Inky comes to us from Langley and will be an advanced dressage horse for the lesson string as well as Alicia’s mount for the season. He’s a great addition – make sure you look for him in the show ring this year. Inky is a 16.2hh Warmblood Gelding and will be showing in 3’9″ this season. He will also be showing in the dressage ring as well this year. Inky is currently leased.

Tao aka Hylee’s Taylor Made

Tao is a Thoroughbred Gelding who is is 16 hands tall and 10 years old. He’s a super duper walk/trot / canter horse and is capable of carrying heavier people. He’s been participating in all of our summer camps and has proven to be a star:) This season he participated in his first Hunter Show and he will be taking people this season to their first shows. Tao could be for lease to the right rider.

Sassy

Sassy is a 13 year old TB/QH/Draft cross standing 15.2hh. Super sweet and is being used for beginners at the walk and trot and the more advanced riders in the canter. She will be a great addition to our lesson string this coming year. We expect Sassy to be showing this coming year in the local shows. Sassy could be for lease to the right rider.

Daisy aka Hylee’s Daisy Duke

Daisy comes to us from a lesson barn in Maple Ridge, she is 5 years old and 14.1hh and a POA  mare. She is your typical pony and does require at least an intermediate rider. Daisy made her debut in the Hunter Ring at MREC this season and did very well in her classes. She will be showing this year at MREC. Daisy will be used in our lesson string closer to Summer as she does require some additional training beforehand. Daisy is not available for lease.

Sonny – Hylee’s Sonny Gunner

Sonny is an 8 year old Arabian/Canadian Gelding standing 13.3hh, he came to us in 2013 and will under go training for the lesson string/sales for the next few months before he will be used. He’s a solid horse underneath you. Currently he is suitable for advanced intermediate riders. He will be attending his first show in April in X rail Hunters. Sonny could be for lease to the right rider.

Rica -  Hylee’s Eureka

Rica is a 16 year old Arabian mare. She stands 14 hh and is used for advanced beginner horses. She comes to us from just down the street and we plan on using her for our kids camps this summer. Rica loves a good rub and acts like your typical Arab, lots of energy in this little one but very forgiving. Photo soon to come

Piper – Hylee’s Pied Piper

Piper is a 20 year old Warmblood/ Thoroughbred gelding that stands 16.1hh. In the past Piper has done pony club, hunter and various other things. He has a great deal to teach our students. He is a steady Eddy type of horse and is used for beginners up to advanced riders. He also participates in our kids camps. Piper did his first show with us in March and was a super star. He is currently leased.
