Hylee Classical QT – Fuzz
Fuzz is our longest school string member. She is 15.2 hh, 8 year old Paint Mare. With numerous wins in both the dressage, hunter and jumper rings. She’s ready to bring her students along. Fuzz’s favorite thing is FOOD! To have a good lesson on her you have to bring her carrot for afterward. Fuzz will be showing for her 6th year this season.
Hylee’s Liza – Liza
15 yr old – 15.3hh TB Mare, been there done that horse including 3 day eventing, 3′ jumpers, hunters and dressage. Liza is now apart of our lesson string and has taken Megan through her instructors level. This year she’ll be back in the school string and back in the show ring with a new rider. Liza has a the best personality she loves people and hates horses! Some day we will tell her she is really a horse.
Winnie
Impressive bred QH. HYPP N/N 15- 15.1hh 6 year old Mare.Winnie has now moved into our lesson string and has attended her first shows with us. Expect to see her at many more shows in 2011. Winnie is also available for lease. Winnie is one our most level headed horses and teaches even our youngest rider (8 years old!) Winnie will be back in the show ring in 2011 with some new students to bring along.
Styles
Styles is a 16.3hh Warmblood/Pinto cross. He is 8 years old and will be showing in the 3’9″ Jumper ring this summer. Styles is an advanced lesson horse for students looking at showing in the 3′ and up height. Styles was shown last year in the 2’9″ division and this year he has attended clinics with Jane Stone and Will Simpson. An athletic and talent horse for the serious rider. Styles is available for lease to the serious rider.
Flash aka Flashen Awe
Flash is our newest edition a 5 year old Thoroughbred gelding. Before coming to Hylee, Flash was a lawn ornament! After coming to Hylee he has realized he loves to work and loves giving lessons. This year he will be attended his first shows with some of the more intermediate riders. Flash is available for a 2 day/week currently. His specialty is dressage and Hunter/Jumper.
Finn aka Hylee’s Huckleberry Finn
Finn is a 20 year old Arab gelding. Finn has many many miles of show experience and he’ll be spending some more time there in the near future. with some of Hylee’s clients. Finn will be working with some of our younger riders this summer. Finn will be available for lease this coming summer. Finn can go either Western or English. He is a barn favorite of all the girls and loves attention.
Ginger aka Hylee Ginger’s Snap
Ginger is a retired Hunter/Jumper horse and comes to from Chilliwack. She’s a 26 year old Thoroughbred mare. She’ll be joining our lesson string and show horse string right away. She has years of experience in the show ring, showing up to 2nd level dressage and over 3 foot. She has alot of knowledge to share with her riders. She will be available for 2 – 3 day/week lease soon. Please inquire.
Midnight aka Hylee’s Midnight Dream
Midnight is an 8 year old Quarter Horse mare who comes to us from Alberta. She is approx 14.2 and is one of the barn favorites! She is a perfect walk/pony and one of the slowest on the lesson string. This winter, she will be working on her canter and her jumping skills so that she is able to join the show string in 2012.
Zee aka Hylee’s Zephyr
Zee comes to use from Mission. He’s 21 years old, an Arabian and stands about 15.1 hh. He has an awkward trot and an amazing canter! Zee will be in semi- training through the winter and already has a leaser.With a little work, he’ll be our newest star!
Inky
Inky comes you us from Langley and will be an advanced dressage horse for the lesson string as well as Alicia’s mount for the season. He’s a great addition – make sure you look for him in the show ring this year.
