Hylee Training Update – December 2011
Well this will be the last newsletter this year – since this year is almost over. The new year brings new hopes and new opportunities for all and especially us.
Announcement
I’m am very excited to announce to you that we have purchased 5 acres of land between Maple Ridge and Mission. And February 1st, Hylee Training will be moving to that location. Everything will be set up and ready to go for that date as long, as all goes as planned. The month of January will be our last month at our Delta location. To be honest I certainly won’t miss the mess around the property at all!
Now, what does that mean for you?
For all our regular clients, while I would love if everyone was able to come with us, I understand that the additional distance is a problem. And in the case that you are not able to come with us. I most certainly understand and I’m happy to refer you to another coach in the Richmond/Delta area. As you can probably understand purchasing property is big step and something we had to do. With the arrival of my son, it was without a doubt something I had to do. I will most certainly miss all the clients I have to leave behind. Please understand that I wish I could have a chance to speak to each of you individually however – it’s not as easy as it sounds. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to email or call me.
If you have any outstanding lessons that need to be booked please do so if Mission is to far for you :)
Our new location is now located on our website and if you are interested in being put on the regular schedule please let me know:)
Working Student & Staff
We will now be looking for a working student in our new location. A working student is someone who comes and works with us, in the lesson string environment who is either looking to become a coach or trainer. The duties include a few chores shifts per week, riding and schooling of lesson horses, farm work – in return we provide an opportunity to work with two certified coaches on a daily basis one or two private lessons per week depending on the availability of the working student, as well as mentored time spent teaching our students, and show coaching.
We will also be looking for staff for the weekly chores, weekend chores will be covered.:) The ability to handle horses is required and no one under 15 please ::)
Open House
We invite everyone to come out to our open house to the new location. Date TBA.
