It has been quite sometime since my last post however, it’s a busy time for us as we have been constantly working on our new location. With the power line set to go in ground tomorrow and the ring to hopefully be complete by the end of the month. We have been busy busy busy.
We have however found sometime to get in a couple of theory lessons. We had one in February and one just last night. We hold theory nights once a month on the 3rd Wed. It’s completely free for current clients and $20 for people who are not clients. It’s potluck so please bring a dish of goodies.
Feb’s theory night was on Parts of the horse, bridle and saddle. Thumper was a great editon to our theory night and even put up with us posting sticky notes all over his body. See the picture to the right. We had some awesome cake, made by our very own Vanessa and some great fun!
March’s theory was lunging where we tacked Fuzz up, I did a demo lunging and then Victoria, Kirsten and Olivia gave it shot. The girls certainly had a different opinion on lunging once everyone had given it a try. It’s not as easy as it looks. But all in all the girls did well. From then we watched a lunging video and enjoyed all the good food for dinner.
Next theory lesson is April 21st and the topic is showmanship. Should be interesting…
