Yesterday, the Hylee group attended the Christmas Show at Crescent Stables. Emily rode Fuzz and we brought along Alana Brown’s daughter, Mac who was riding her new pony! Mac and her new pony were in the W/T Cross Poles division. Megan and Likely also did very well in their flat classes and over fences. I believe this was Megan’s first over fences show. Laurin did well on Dancer in her flat classes. All the horses were a bit frisky and is showed in the classes but our judge Joan Simmons was great at keeping everyone safe and in control. Joan’s daughter Kiera was also our ring master. They moved the classes right along in the AM as everyone was getting a bit cold.
We are hoping to have a clinic with Joan at our facility in the spring. Joan is a very knowledgeable coach and has a emphasis on safety. With that we are hoping to get a spring date soon.
